By integrating gamification elements, social features, and real-world data from the US GHG Center, EcoPath helps users visualize their impact on the environment and guides them toward reducing carbon emissions or increasing carbon sequestration (e.g., by planting trees).

How Does It Work?

User Onboarding: Users input information about their daily habits (transport, energy consumption, diet, etc.) to calculate their carbon footprint.
Tracking and Data Integration: EcoPath uses data from the US GHG Center to provide real-time feedback on emissions trends and goals, helping users understand their carbon impact.
Gamification and Challenges: Users participate in challenges to reduce their footprint, earning points and rewards for completing tasks like reducing energy consumption or adopting greener habits.
Community Engagement: Users can connect with others to share progress, compare achievements, and collaborate on challenges, fostering a sense of global community.
